This session is designed for participants to glaze their wheel-thrown creations from previous wheel workshops.
Plan for approximately 1.5 hours to paint and finish your pieces with your choice of glazes.
Glazing and Open Studio Policy
The studio provides access to glazing and open studio sessions for registered participants. All glazing materials used in the studio are primarily Amaco Glazes fired to Cone 6.
Registration and Payment
Participants are required to purchase their glazing session prior to arriving at the studio. All session dates and times must be confirmed in advance to ensure adequate staffing and workspace availability.
Kiln Use and Liability
All work fired in the studio kiln is subject to the inherent risks of the ceramic firing process. Variations in clay bodies, glaze application, air pockets, and structural weaknesses may result in cracking, warping, or explosions during firing.
The studio exercises professional care in loading, operating, and maintaining the kiln; however, the studio is not responsible for damage to pottery that occurs as a result of the firing process.
